1. Data controller

The data controller is Corte Acquaviva, [company name / owner's full name to be added], based at Via [address], 73030 Bagnolo del Salento (LE), Italy, VAT no. [add]. For any request relating to this notice: info@corteacquaviva.it.

2. Data collected through the contact form

The form on the Contact page does not send data to a server: when you fill it in and press "Send request", your device simply opens your usual email application (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Mail) with a message already drafted, addressed to info@corteacquaviva.it. Your data (name, email, phone, message content) therefore remains under your control until you choose to send the email yourself: the website does not independently collect or store it.

Once received by email, the request is kept by Corte Acquaviva for as long as necessary to handle the information or booking request, and in any case no longer than the periods required by law for commercial communications and accounting records.

3. Third-party services used by the site

The site relies on a few external services in order to work correctly. This may involve the transmission of technical data (such as your IP address) to the relevant providers, independently of whether you fill in any form.

These providers act as independent data controllers for the technical data collected through their own services. We invite you to review their respective notices: Google and WhatsApp.

4. Cookies

The site itself does not install profiling or marketing cookies. Some of the third-party services listed above (in particular Google Maps, when the map is loaded) may set their own technical or measurement cookies, in accordance with their respective notices.

A banner shown when you open the site informs you of this. By continuing to browse after seeing the banner, or by interacting with content that loads external services (e.g. the map), you consent to the use described on this page.

5. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent: for the data you voluntarily choose to send us via the contact email.
  • Performance of pre-contractual/contractual measures: to handle booking and stay requests.
  • Legitimate interest: for the technical operation of the site (e.g. loading fonts and maps).

6. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to ask Corte Acquaviva at any time for access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing (Articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 — GDPR). You can exercise these rights by writing to info@corteacquaviva.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), or with the supervisory authority in your own country, if you believe your data has been processed in violation of applicable law.

7. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated over time, for example if the services used by the site change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.

This text is a base template, drafted to accurately reflect the services actually used by this site. It does not replace legal advice: before publishing, we recommend having it reviewed by a professional (accountant or lawyer) familiar with your specific situation, especially if you later add an online booking system, a newsletter, or website traffic analytics tools.
